Jack is in the hospital
I am beside myself. My five-day old Jack had to be admitted to Children's Hospital because his temperatures were too low at his first checkup today.
When they admitted him, they found his blood oxygen levels are below 88 and they should be above 92. He is on a nose cannula with oxygen hooked up to tons of monitors and wires.
I cannot get it together. I am a mess. I will update when I can.

Amy, I'm so sorry this has happened. But he is where they can give him all of the help he needs. Delaney was in the NICU for four days after she was born partly for the same reason (low blood oxygenation). It was so scary seeing her with all of those tubes, under that oxygen tent, but she got better quickly.
This must be so hard for you and your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Amy, I've been reading your blog for a while now (found the link from another one I read.)
I'm so sorry that Jack is in the hospital. Just wanted you to know a fellow mother is thinking of you and your son and praying all is well.
Amy, I can't imagine how difficult this has to be for you, especially considering all you've been through so far. I am sure that Jack will be healthy and home with you soon.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Amy, I am praying for you and your family. Jack looks like one tough little cookie - look at everything he has made it through so far. This is one more hurdle that you guys will overcome. My baby had the same thing and it truly just seemed that he needed a few more days to get a little stronger before he came home. Stay strong. -Diana
